《国外文学》（季刊）创刊于1981年10月，是由北大主办的一份向国内外公开发行的评介外国文学的学术性刊物。本刊系中文核心期刊，主要面向国内外文学研究，教学工作者及广大外国文学爱好者。办刊宗旨：面向国内外文学研究、教学工作者及广大外国文学爱好者，刊发文学理论探讨、文本分析与阐释、作品翻译与译介等内容。

收稿范围
1. 原创文学作品
小说：短篇、中篇、长篇小说的节选或完整作品。
诗歌：现代诗、传统诗、实验诗等。

戏剧：剧本、独幕剧等。
2. 文学评论与批评
对国内外文学作品、作家的评论与分析。
文学理论、流派、趋势的研究。
3. 翻译作品
外国文学作品的翻译，需附原文及译者说明。
4. 文学访谈
与作家、诗人、评论家的深度访谈。
5. 文学新闻与报道
文学奖项、书展、作家活动等新闻报道。
6. 文化与艺术
文学与其他艺术形式（如电影、音乐、绘画）的交叉研究。
7. 读者互动
读者来信、书评、阅读心得等。
杂志格式要求
General Submission Guidelines for International Literary Magazines
Manuscript Formatting
Double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman or similar.
1-inch margins on all sides.
Page numbers and author's name on every page.
Title and Author Information
Title centered at the top of the first page.
Author's name, contact information, and brief bio on a separate cover page.
Submission Length
Short stories: Typically 1,000 to 7,500 words.
Poems: Usually 3 to 5 poems per submission.
Essays: 1,000 to 5,000 words.
File Format
Preferred formats: .doc, .docx, or .pdf.
No .pages or .rtf files.
Cover Letter
Brief and professional, including the title of the work and genre.
Mention any previous publications if applicable.
Simultaneous Submissions
Check magazine's policy; some allow, some do not.
Always notify if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Response Time
Varies widely; can be from a few weeks to several months.
